Booking the right wedding photographer shouldn’t be hard. We have compiled a list of questions that we get asked a lot. If you don’t find your answer here, please feel free to contact us.

WHAT YOUR STYLE?

We love a simple wedding photo.We are creative documentary editorial photographers. We try to stay as unobtrusive as possible during the day. Only interject ourselves when it's appropriate like during the portraits.

ARE YOU DIGITAL OR FILM SHOOTERS?

Both! We are Hybrid Wedding photographer and our couples often mention that our images look like a work of art. Nothing compares to the look of film! We always try to shoot few rolls whenever it's possible.

WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH MY WEDDING DETAILS?

Yes ! We think that wedding photographs wouldn’t be complete without images of all of the details that make your day uniquely yours.

ONE OR TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS?

In the past, we've photographed many weddings as single photographers. We never were satisfied because we felt like we miss something. When you book us, you are getting two award-winning photographers to document your day.

DO YOU SHOOT RAW? HOW DO YOU PROCESS YOUR FILES?

We shoot RAW files. RAW files need to be color and exposure corrected. This is done by hand or rather eye. To do this, we use professional grade software as is usual in the pro-photography world. We don’t use lightroom presets filters.

WHAT IS YOUR PRICING FOR WEDDING COLLECTIONS?

Our Wedding Experience range from € 3,500 - € 6,000.

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO YOU RECOMMEND?

This completely depends on your wedding day! It all depends on several factors: the best light, how big your bridal party is, how big your family is, if your reception is at a different venue, etc. We can help you build a rough draft timeline to fit your day perfectly, but we won't be able to recommend an exact timeline until we learn more about your day.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL? HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO HAVE YOU SHOOT MY WEDDING IN _____?

We do charge for travel outside of Umbria area. We’d be happy to provide you a travel quote that would cover our travel expenses including fuel, food, travel time, and lodging (if necessary).
COLLECTIONS & CREDITS

WHY DO YOU INCLUDE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH ALL YOUR COLLECTIONS? CAN WE SWAP IT OUT FOR SOMETHING ELSE?

We include an engagement session with each of our wedding collections because it’s important for us to build a relationship with you! We will be with you your entire day during your wedding, and we don’t want to show up and be just another vendor that’s following you around. We want to know you, and we want you to know us, so we can best document what’s important to you on your special day. It always allows for more natural, authentic images on your wedding day because you know your photographer, and you’re more comfortable in front of the camera. In the years we’ve been serving couples, we’ve found the engagement session to be an important and appreciated part of what we do. Because of this, we don’t allow it to be switched out for another product or service – we really believe it’s that important! If you decide not to take advantage of the complimentary session, no worries at all. We have brides that cannot make it work logistically because of travel, etc. However, it’s our policy not to substitute the engagement session as we encourage our couples to take advantage of it.

WILL I RECEIVE ALL OF THE IMAGES YOU TAKE?

No, and you’ll be glad you didn’t! We can take as many as 3,000 – 5,000 images on a wedding day, and we go through all of them and pick out the best ones. Trust us, you don’t want the one where someone has an ugly face! Simply put, we believe in quality over quantity.

DO YOU INCLUDE FULL RESOLUTION IMAGES WITH YOUR WEDDING COLLECTIONS?

All of our wedding collections include high-resolution, fully edited images with the rights to print your photos on your own. We ask that you do not alter the images in anyway or submit them to press or share them with other vendors without our consent.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

We don’t have a set number and it depends on the size of your wedding. With 2 photographers coverage for 8 hours, then it tends to be between 900-1200 photos. For the E-sessions, you can expect to receive 80-100 images.

Normally the photos will be delivered 3-4 weeks after the wedding.

We can give you a preview 1 week after your wedding.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

You should choose a location in a spot that reflects who you are as a couple. We always recommend outdoors, since natural light is always the best for film photography. Ask yourself, “What do we enjoy as a couple? What is our style? Do we like quaint towns and architecture, or fields surrounded with nature?” Try to come up with a place on your own. If you are completely lost, we can recommend a few different options for your session!

WILL I BE ABLE TO PRINT MY PICTURE?

Yes absolutely, you will be able to download all your pictures and use them for printing. Every event or session will get a online gallery to view and order prints. You’ll be able to download the digital images directly from that gallery. You can order prints through us, using our professional print shop for beautiful, high-quality prints, or you can print them at another outlet of your choosing. While we love cheap print shop's low prices, we do not recommend printing your images there! For the best quality and for prints and canvases displayed in your home, we recommend ordering directly from your personal online gallery.
PLANNING

DO YOU RECOMMEND DOING A “FIRST LOOK?”

The first look is when the couple sees each other before the ceremony. That could be a very special moment to have on your wedding day…those little moments are treasures. We recommend planning your day around the light! We don’t pressure our couples to do a First Look or to keep things traditional. We simply encourage you to think about the time of day you are getting married, and allow at least 1 hour after your ceremony for photos in natural light (before sunset).
Remember: having that natural light is incredibly important for delivering those beautiful, dreamy photos you are hoping for.

DO YOU NEED A WEDDING PHOTO LIST?

We have our own shot list that is in the back of our heads as it comes to wedding details, such as the rings, the gown and decor details.
What we do need to know from you, however, is the portraits that you want us to take.
Please let us know about any special features of your wedding, such as a surprise performance like fireworks, sparkler exits and something else.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE GROUP PHOTOS (FORMALS)?

Every wedding needs those. Group formals are simply a part of the wedding as you have a rare opportunity of families getting together.
Usually we shoot them right after the ceremony and during the Aperitivo.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Rain can be a huge photo opportunity. We shot a lot of beautiful portraits with umbrellas that adds a lot more character to them.

We are privileged to work with some of the best wedding vendors in the area, so if you need a recommendation for music, entertainment, florals, lighting, or anything else, we’d be happy to suggest someone that we know will serve you well.
